PHOTO CONTEST 2007
From November 23 to 25, 2007, the “2nd CandyGirl Photo Contest Exhibition” was held at the Motoazabu Gallery in Tokyo for three days. At the venue, we displayed the photo contest entries, new products such as the “Jewel DIVA,” a lineup of our product offerings, brochures of Orient Industry’s historical products, and the latest catalog. During the event, we were blessed with good weather, and many people from various fields attended. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who submitted their works and to those who visited the exhibition.

Shinya Yamamoto (Film Director)
Born June 16, 1939 in Kanda, Tokyo
Shinya Yamamoto is a film director who has created over 250 works in Nikkatsu Roman Porno. For 21 years, he reported on a wide range of social phenomena, from the adult entertainment industry to travel documentaries, on the TV program “Tonight.” He is also active in various TV and radio programs and has recently gained prominence as an actor.
Jin Katagiri (Rahmens)
Jin Katagiri, known for his comedy troupe “Rahmens,” also works as an actor and sculptor. He studied printmaking at Tama Art University and is an avid fan of Gundam. His trademark is his glasses and messy hair. He is blood type B.
JIRO (Special Makeup Artist)
After graduating from Tokyo University of the Arts, they pursued a career in special effects makeup. Representative of Jiyuro Inc. Served as a full-time instructor in the Special Makeup Artist Department at Yoyogi Animation Academy. Achieved consecutive victories in the 5th and 6th “TV Champion Special Effects Makeup Championship,” winning two times in a row. Later appeared on the program again as a certified champion of “TV Champion 2.”
Koichi Tanabe (Photographer)
Koichi Tanabe graduated from the Photography Department of Nihon University College of Art. In his late twenties, he was photographing girls for the “CandyGirl” photo book “Lover’s DNA” when he encountered Orient Industry’s Alice doll and became captivated by its charm. He discovered his special ability to communicate with dolls and figures, and since then, he has been obsessed with their allure, finding it difficult to even converse with ordinary girls.
ta-bo (Love Doll Collector)
As a middle school student, ta-bo was captivated by an inflatable Antarctic model seen in an adult magazine, and has been dedicated to collecting love dolls ever since. He collects polyurethane love dolls, Orient Industry’s latex dolls, and American-made real dolls. He has visited numerous factories and showrooms of Japanese love doll manufacturers and even visited real doll workshops several times. As his love doll collection grew, he moved to larger rooms every five years, making him a bit of a moving enthusiast.
