As part of the 25th anniversary celebration, the “Candy Girl Photo Contest,” a user-participation event, was held at the Motomazube Gallery in Minato Ward, Tokyo, from December 3 to 7, 2004, lasting for five days.
The total number of submissions approached 200, and many dolls, with the silicone Alice as the centerpiece, adorned the venue. The grand prize winner was awarded a supplementary prize of 300,000 yen.
